Emergency bandages in sealed grey packets, Royal Army Medical Corps, 2013 (c). These bandages were part of an Army medic’s trauma pack in Afghanistan (2001-2014). They were are used for haemorrhage control and trauma wound dressing. The bandages are impregnated with crushed shellfish and minerals that seal injured blood vessels.
