Dywed ei fod wedi cael ei ddarganfod ar y traeth y bore ar ol llongddrylliad y 'Royal Charter'' Hydref 1859 gan Mr Mawbey, athro cyntaf Ysgol Wesleaidd St Paul, Bangor. White cotton; seams hand sewn; padded and quilted; tie at back of neck, 1 string missing. Said to have been found on the beach the morning after the wreck of the ' Royal Charter' October 1859 by Mr Mawbey, first master of St Paul's Wesleyan School, Bangor.
