First hanging device: Clasped hands in gold plated silver and within a gold plated silver roundel, infilled with dark blue enamel and with text reading 'UNITED WARDS LODGE No. 2897'. It is surmounted by the coat of arms of the City of London in gold plated silver and enamel. Second hanging device: Gold plated silver set square with the 47th proposition of Euclid suspended beneath. Pin: Vertical.
