From old museum label - 'Medal, copper. Obv. In centre the Nottingham Town Arms surrounded by shields charged with a Sheaf of Corn, a Harrow, a Plough and tow Sickles. Contained in the four compartments between these shields are heads of barley, wheat, maize and seeds. Motto on ribbon below: Deus incrementum dat. Inscribed Nottingham Corn Exchange Company. Rev. inscribed Subscriber's Ticket, 1850. Diamter 1 1/2 in. English, 1850. Given by Mrs R.T.Back.'
