Association note:: DOCUMENTS RELATED TO ALDBOURNE purchased February 2017 on behalf of Aldbourne Heritage Centre from RICHARD GILES, Cleeve House, Charlton St. Peter , Pewsey , Wilts SN9 6EU Tel 01980 630 724. Richard Giles bought these at auction as part of a set of documents relating to his own family history research. The Aldbourne documents were surplus to his requirements. The documents are believed to have been owned by Mrs Ann Thomson, a retired teacher, who either at some time lived in or had family connections with Aldbourne. The documents appear to relate to a pair of cottages in The Butts, Aldbourne which are now co-joined as Nos 3 & 4 with the given name Milbourne Cottage.
