On the obverse central to the design is a relief depiction of the letter 'G' surrounded by rays and surmounted by two swords crossed in saltire and a set square. Below this is relief text reading 'NO 74'. Encircling the design is relief text reading 'L □ HIJOS DEL TRABAJO / VALL ∴ DE BARRACAS'. On the reverse central to the design is relief text reading 'DEDICADO / Á LA / CONSTRUCCION / DE SU / TEMPLO MAS ∴ / 1887'. Encircling this is a laurel wreath.
