- Brief description:
- 11 page pamphlet / newsheet from 'The 606 Club and Brockenhurst School Old Comrades Association' published in August 1944. Includes an opening letter from 'W. E. Gallimore, Flying Officer' which outlines the intention of the pamphlet: to connect the 'Headmaster and the Officers and Cadets of No. 606 (Brockenhurst County School) Flight of the Air Training Corps' with 'all old boys serving'. Letter includes information about the school. Subsequent pages list 'The Presidents Sons', 'Members of the Staff', 'Ex-Cadets of No. 606 Flight ATC', 'Old Boys who left school before preservice training was thought of', and 'Some of whom we seek further information'. Kenneth Erne is featured in the penultimate section, with a brief description of his RAF training and his final mission, in which his plane was shot down over Denmark in 1943. Inner pages no longer stapled.
