Top bar: Gold coloured metal bar with patterned edge. Ribbon: Ribbed and watered silk in light blue. Hanging device: Light blue enamel disc on which is a relief image of the Rock of Gibraltar in gold coloured metal and relief, framed within a band of matt gold coloured metal with text in relief reading 'INHABITANTS LODGE / 178'. A set square and compass in gold coloured metal and with engraved foliage designs surmounts the device. Pin: Horizontal.

Inhabitants Lodge, No. 153 is one of a small number to have a non-standard centenary jewel. Prior to the mid 1860s lodges produced unofficial jewels for centenaries and those with existing jewels were allowed to continue them as a concession when a standard form was made compulsory.
