Person's biographical note:
Painter and environmental designer. Studied at St Martin's Schools of Art, 1954-57, and the Slade School of Fine Art, 1957-60. She painted abstracts during the 1960s and had her first solo show in 1963. She later taught at the Slade School of Fine Art retiring in 1999. Since the 1980s she has concentrated on pavement designs for public spaces including commissions for Victoria Station, London, Centenary Square, Birmingham, and the new British Embassy in Moscow
