Brief description:
An eighteenth century Nottingham brown salt-glazed stoneware circular bowl on short stemmed foot. Decorated with an encircling band of a rouletted design between two incised lines, beneath an encircling incised line below rim. Unmarked. Found while excavating the Great Central Railway, Nottingham, before 1900.
