Pouch belt plate, Central Bengal Light Horse, 1884-1901. Silver badge with unit monogram, ‘CBLH’, in elaborate script. The Central Bengal Light Horse was an Indian Army auxiliary raised in 1884 and amalgamated with the Calcutta Light Horse in 1901. The unit was disbanded in 1947 when India gained Independence.
