Base of a cremation pot comprising approximately 5 reconstructed sherds from cremation burial SK61, of slightly gritty, grey / black core and inner surface, outer surface fired a pale brown and burnished, from the pagan Saxon cemetery called 'Black Patch' at Blacknall Field, Pewsey, Wiltshire, excavated by Ken Annable and the Wiltshire Archaeological and Natural History Society, 1969-1976.
