Brief description:
Skeleton of a white leghorn chicken born on a farm in Lee, near Ilfracombe with two extra legs. The hen, named Tooker, was kept alive int he museum for some time before living out the rest of her life back at the farm. The entry in the Museum register for the accession of her skeleton reads: 'Tooker, our beloved old hen'. March 13th 1933.
