Brief description:
Light blue watered silk collar with a light blue silk backing. A double line of silver braid runs halfway down the front of the collar and frames at the centre a roundel in woven silver with a chequerboard design. Below this is a rearing lion in silver purl with red and black silk detail, standing on a cushion. Below this is a scroll embroidered in silver purl bearing text in silver purl reading 'CREATON'. Below this is '1791' embroidered in silver purl. Hanging from the collar by a silver coloured metal chain is the device of a Director of Ceremonies in silver coloured metal, being two crossed rods tied by a ribbon in a bow, with an inscription on the reverse.
