Top bar: Missing. Ribbon: Missing. Hanging device: Gold coloured metal disc with a central image of woman riding a chariot with four horses, in relief. She is surrounded by the twelve signs of the zodiac, starting at the top and moving clockwise: Taurus the Bull, Gemini the Twins, Cancer the Crab, Leo the Lion, Virgo the Virgin, Libra the Scales, Scorpio the Scorpion, Sagittarius the Hunter, Capricorn the Goat, Aquarius the Water-Bearer, Pisces the Fish and Aries the Ram. The disc is framed by a worm oroborus (snake biting it's own tail) in gold coloured metal. Pin: Missing.

Comments:
Old Union Lodge is one of a small number to have a non-standard centenary jewel. Prior to the mid 1860s lodges produced unofficial jewels for centenaries and those with existing jewels were allowed to continue them as a concession when a standard form was made compulsory.
