The obverse of the coin has a wreath of leaves and inscribed inside it is 'Awarded to James F Paull for regular and punctual attendance during 4 years 1908'. The reverse of the coin has a raised image of the Port Sunlight School. The Port Sunlight news of 1908 reports that James Paull was 'never late or absent for four years'.
