Apron for a Grand Steward, circa 1890.

Brief description:
Rectangular apron with triangular flap, in white leather with deep border of ribbed silk in red. There are three levels embroidered in silver, two on the apron and a third on the flap, and two ribbons of red silk with fixed silver bullion tassels are suspended from beneath the flap. The apron is lined in purple silk with a purple fabric belt with cast metal snake buckle.
