- Signed with initials; dated 1902. Framed and glazed. Formerly described as: "Egyptian frieze with figures and hieroglyphics surrounding the entrance to a tomb" and as "Fishing and hunting scene". See Lepsius, Abth. II, Bl. 130. The artist, Reginald Rye, was the second and the longest-serving Librarian of the University of London (1906-1944).
