Brief description:
Cream silk apron with crimson rushed trim and black fabric backing. The apron flap is sewn to the main body and also has a rushed crimson trim. On the apron is a gold spangled and red velvet temple above which is a gold spangled 'M' surrounded and a gold purl set square and compass. They are both flanked by two gold spangled columns that are entwined with embroidered acacia. In the centre of the flap is a gold spangled letter 'G' which is within a red silk five pointed star that has a border or gold spangles and purl. Between each arm of the star are rays of gold spangles.
