Brief description:
White leather apron with a border of dark blue silk with crimson indents and a dark blue backing. On the front the apron has a triangular flap, also in white leather, with a border of dark blue and crimson indents. The flap has two tassels in dark blue silk ended with a gold coloured metal bar and gold coloured metal ball and chain tassel ends. In the middle of the flap is a triangle of dark blue silk embroidered with a triple tau in gold purl and with a gold purl border. In the centre of the apron is the device of a Grand Scribe E being two crossed quills tied by a ribbon in gold purl and black silk detail, over a trangular frame in gold purl. Framing the device is a double border of gold purl with text at the top in gold purl reading 'SURREY'. The apron has a belt of dark blue silk and a gold coloured metal buckle in the form of a snake.
