‘The 1st Royal Devon Yeomanry’ by W. Miles, c.1840. The painting depicts three horses with two male figures. The Royal Devon Yeomanry regiment was raised in 1794 which later became amalgamated with the Volunteer Cavalry. The regiment participated in the Boer War, First and Second World Wars. This object is not on display. Inscription lower right signed & dated W Miles 1840
