- Top bar: Gilt with deep engraved foliage. Ribbon: Ribbed silk in dark red. Ribbon device: Hollow and gilt with deep engraved foliage. Bottom bar: Gilt with deep engraved foliage. Hanging device: Gilt Seal of Solomon (six pointed or two interlocking triangles) framing a triple tau and engraved with text reading 'WE HAVE FOUND / EYPHKAMEN / INVENIMUS / CULTOR DEI / CIVIS MUNDI'. The Seal is framed within a gilt circular band of with text reading 'DEO, REGI, FRATRIBUS, HONOR, FIDELITAS, BENEVOLENTIA.' The device is set on a disc of translucent dark blue enamel, under glass and within a ring of clear paste. All is within a gilt frame with foliage embellishments and a presentation inscription on reverse. Pin: Vertical.

- The Latin inscription 'Deo regi fratribus, honor, fidelitas benevolentia' translates as 'For God, King and brethren, honour, fidelity and benevolence'. '[We have found] Eyphkamen invenimus cultor dei, civis mundi' translates as 'We have found the worship of God, O citizen of the world'. Eyphkamen, or Eurekamen, is a Greek word meaning 'We have found it!'.
