Apron and collar for a Grand Officer worn by William Shadbolt, Senior Grand Deacon, 1814.

Brief description:
Rectangular apron with triangular flap in white leather and with a border of dark blue silk. There are three levels in the same silk, one on the flap and two on the apron. Suspended from beneath the flap are two ribbons in the same blue silk, ended with a bar of silver spangles and pearl purl with silver bullion tassels. The apron is lined with dark blue silk and has a similar belt. The collar is in dark blue ribbed silk with button and loop fastening and a button at the apex of the collar.
