- A rattle was an ideal alarm; it sounded like nothing else and had a piercing noise. It was used by the home guard against threats of gas attacks. The Key advantage was that, unlike a whistle, it could be used when wearing a respirator. Wooden Rattle stamped to ARP. Later used by football fan with England and a star drawn in ink.

Semi Automatic single action pocket pistol. Small numbers were issued to German forces in WWI. Section 5 firearm said to have been brought back as a war trophy by Brian Wanless Father after WWII along with bayonets HAPHB:2008.335 and HAPHB:2008.336.
