- Pen and ink sketch of a descent in the diving bell to assess damage to the Thames Tunnel, signed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. It seems likely that the descent depicted is that of 20 May 1827, when Marc Isambard Brunel and Isambard Kingdom Brunel descended together, and Isambard hang out of the bell to assess damage.
